Holding Variables Module to Module? How?

We are currently developing a course that consists of 9 modules. Each module is created and published separately. Each module is located in separate folders on the server. Lectora will hold variables from page to page within a module, but if we have a link for another page from another module to load into the browser, the variables do not carry to the new html page. We do not want to use cookies or have the variables hold if they close and reopen the window. But if they go from the last page of one module to the first page of the next, we would like for all of the variables to carry over to the next module. We are trying to do this with no database involved. Please help. Thank you in advance.-w
