Hiding Playback control

Hello Pamela. In Captivate, the playback control acts as a background for control of the captivate movie. It allows users to control the playing of the movie whether they want to go back or forward; whether they want to jump slides or stop. Hence, when the movie ends, the playback control will not fade out, because it allows the user to restart the movie if needed.I should tell you that another choice would be to remove the Captivate skin that has the playback control, then place a slide at the end, that has a button to restart the movie. ie. Button > Jump to Slide > Slide 1.When you indicate in your movie settings, to fade out the movie at the end, only the movie slides are being faded out, not the controls.I would need further information as to how you have inserted the captivate Movie files into Lectora. If you have a menu that is linked to various Captivate movies, what you could do, is to place each Captivate movie in it's own Lectora-generated pages. Then link the menu to the various pages. You could also create in each Captivate slide an ending page, that tells the user to use the playback control to restart the movie if needed, and not have it fade out at the end.Regards,Edited By: bruman on 2008-2-19 20:42:33
