Goto Title: relative paths possible
March 17, 2005 12:00 AM
Hello out there !QUESTION:Is it possible to enter a RELATIVE PATH / ADDRESS for the 'title location' of an Action (Go To / Title).BACKGROUND:I have already created several Lectora-titles which I want to access from one central page/module, but at the moment it´s not sure, on which of our servers it will be stored in the future. Thus I need a relative-path-goto-event.Thanks and have a good time !Edited By: eMikey on 38428.3245486111

Try using a CD publish instead. Single file exe is just that. It takes everything and squishes it all into a single program. It wasn't designed to open other titles - it probably should have given a warning though when publishing.A CD publish leaves all of the resources seperate and is able to load one title to another. A CD publish should work as it does in run/preview mode.
Hi Aaron ! Sorry for bugging you , but unfortunately this doesn´t work :-(I´m using PPS v.2004 (1382). Do I have to upgrade to get it running ?Same problem with PPS v.2004 SP3 (1890)...(here it is working in the 'run' mode, but when publishing title1 to an .exe it´s not working) eMikeyEdited By: eMikey on 38429.1961921296
Yes, relative paths may be used. So if you are saving all your titles to C:my titles and each one is in it's own seperate folder you could have title1 open up title2 using the path: ../title2/title2.awtYes, relative paths may be used.
