Flash Embedded Audio/Video & Lectora

Hello All,
I have a .swf file that has a running graph, and embedded audio. I import this into Lectora. I try to make a new button to simply play/pause/stop but the pause does NOT pause the entire .swf - the audio keeps running. Is there anyway to fix this?
