Exit button in Moodle

Hi guys,

Many thanks.

Typically if you run in the same window Moodle has some navigation elements. The old version I used v1.9 has an "Exit Activity" link. I put a text block in the course with a message to click the Exit Activity link to exit the course, or click the continue button if using multiple AUs.

Looks like it's an open discussion item:

What SCORM version are you using? SCORM 2004 has some navigation control maybe that is the difference.

For SCORM v1.2 we call LMSFinish() which is the SCOs last responsibility. I believe that Moodle refers to this method as the "close communication" method in their documentation. Does it work when the course is launched in the same window non-mobile? And one more question, which version of Moodle? Thanks for bringing up this issue, I really like Moodle!

Thanks Joe, ah yes I have seen this. Unfortunately, on a mobile this "Exit Activity" button appears to be absent. Additionally to this, pressing the back button on the mobile browser takes you back through every course page you've visited until you get to where you started and finally, back to the Topic menu.

I have heard from the client that their previous Articulate courses work fine with a 'same window exit button', I wonder what is Articulate using that Lectora isn't?
