exit actions not quite working

Using Lectora 2005 and Element K LMS.I have three courses, all created from the same base file. Each course has an Exit button that appears on every page, and a text hyperlink to exit when the user completes every chapter. (Since these are from the same base file, the HTML name for the button is consistent among the courses.) The button and the hyperlink both use the Exit Title/Close Window action.All three courses now live on our LMS:Course #1 works perfectly. Clicking the Exit button on any page will make the window close and update the LMS.In course #2, the exit actions don't work at all. Clicking the button produces a "click" sound, but no other result. Likewise with the hyperlink.Course #3's developer ran into the same problem as course #2, so he experimented with workarounds. He picked one page in the course, disinherited the title-level Exit button, and placed a copy of the Exit button directly on the page. Result: the Exit button on that page works (closing the window and updating the LMS), but on the rest of the pages the functionality continues to be broken. Each of these courses was published using the same settings. Why are #1 and #2 behaving differently, and why does the workaround for #3 work?
