dynamic menus/tables of contents

Hi there!I'm building a template for non-developers to use and I would like to allow for dynamic text wherever possible. In particular, I would like to create a main menu that dynamically generates a nicely-styled list of the chapters; and then within a chapter, a menu that displays a list of the sections in that chapter; and within each section, a list of the pages in that section. Is there a way to do this? The Table of Contents almost works for this, but I can't seem to get a list of just chapters without excluding sections individually, which makes them not show up on the table of contents within their chapters. Also, the TOCs are not easily styled. How do I remove the indentation and make a simple list?
