Drop Shadows

It would be great to be able to apply a drop shadow to a box (frames, arrows, lines etc.) and to text. It not only helps with design, but it helps to make text more readable against different and varying backgrounds. It's a pain to go to an image editor and back again to accommodate this, primarily because of sizing and color issues, etc.
