Drag and Drop - getting the variable for the student's answer

Can someone tell me how I can get the contents of the variable for the students answer to the drag and drop????

Just use the variable associated with the question. Run the course in Debug mode and watch the variables.
In Lectora 11, you just open the question properties and on the Question tab, change the names of the items and drop zones. In Lectora, X, no way.

Thank you for the reply. I guess my question was too broad. What I'm really looking for is how to translate the answers from "1-1,2-2,3-3" into the actual wording, "Meow-Cat, Woof-Dog, Tweet-Bird".
