KJ1 the problem is the settings in IE. Go to Tools | Internet OptionsClick the Settings buttonWhere it says Check for newer versions of stored pages: select EVERY VISIT TO THE PAGE (most likely you have Automatically checked) While there change the disk cache to 80MB...most likely it is much larger...if you are broadbanding in, smaller is better. Click OKNow we will make one more change to your browser...assuming you are using XP SP2....Go to Tools | Internet OptionsClick the Advanced tab at the topScroll to the bottom and find the checkbox that says "Empty Temporary Internet Files foder when browser is closed" Check that box (I'll bet it is unchecked)Click OkClose all copies of your browser. The problem of not seeing the newest version of the page should now be gone. On occasion though I do have to go to:Tools | Internet Options and click Delete Files and Delete CookiesIf you do all of that your problem goes away and you will see the latest version of the page.Edited By: tekprof on 2006-4-7 23:9:37

The project I'm currently working on requires us to provide a CD version of the Title to our customer for review before uploading to Moodle. When I publish to CD the radial buttons for questions are already selected instead of being blank. From the reading I've done in this forum, and in this post, it seems I need to clear cookies...and in this case the cookies are stored in the registry. Is there any other way to clear the cookies so I can publish to CD without the answers being selected?
Thanks,
Susan
Two things:
1. If ftp'g to a Moodle server hosted somewhere else, I have noticed that it does not update right away. It has nothing to do with cookies, cache, etc. It is just how some of the Moodle servers are set to refresh. Usually, within 10 minutes, the updated version shows.
2. Regarding the already selected radio buttons. I too have experienced this as well. Originally, I thought it was because I had not helps. Still wondering about a solution.

In reading other posts and info on Internet I tried the following and it worked for me...
- In Internet Explorer, Internet Options, General Tab, click the Settings button. On the Temporary Internet Files tab select the Check for newer versions of stored pages: "Every time I visit the webpage".
- Return to the General Tab and click the Delete button. Since I work offline (a system with no Internet Access) I've checked everything and then click Delete.
- Close IE.
- Run your title.
Good luck.
