Display first frame of f4v in Lectora
March 28, 2013 12:00 AM
I want to add a video (f4v) on my Lectora page. I want the first frame of the f4v to display with a "start arrow", not a black box with a "start arrow". How do I do that?
For example, if the video is of a mountain scene, the first frame of the video (before it plays) would display a mountain. I would tell the learner to click the mountain video to run it. Right now I get a black box (no mountain) with a start arrow.
What do I need to do to have the first frame displayed vs. the black box?

I don't think you can do this in Lectora or even outside of it automatically (without considerable programming effort).
The easiest way is to add a picture with 2 actions: hide on click, play movie on click.
