Deleting the lectora cookie??

Hi,
I have produced a very large course consisting of 25 seperate modules, published to HTML using JavaScript TitleManager, all linked from a seperate main menu - each module has its own menu. I am using 'retain variable between all sessions' as to monitor user completion for all menu variables I have used. My client has since asked for a 'reset' button on the Main Menu, that will clear all the ticks on all the menus if the user wishes to start all over again.
My thinking is either...
1. Get the user to manually reset the browser cookies.
2. Put a lectora button on the Main Menu that will reset all the variables I have used over all the Modules ( although I dont think this is possible as they are all individually published html files).
3. Put a lectora button on the Main Menu that will clear the Lectora cookie.
Please can someone advise me of the best approach/actions to take.
