Delaying User Function

The courses that I will be building in Lectora require the content media play to completion before the user can nagivate forward. So I altered the next button so that it is not initially visible and placed an action on each page that said: On: Show, Action: Show, Target: Next Button, and used the delay before action function, selecting the check box and typing in a time length. This works fine, but is a bit time consuming as I would have to manually input file lengths for every page with media. So the first question is: is there a way to do this without manually typing in lengths? Is this something that flash could handle? Most of my content files could be used in Flash and turned into .swf files. Could I get Flash to drop a variable out of the .swf as it hit the last frame? And then can I get Lectora to pick that up? Is that possible? And now I am trying to set up keyboard navigation in addition to the GUI navigation, and I cannot for the life of my figure out a way to disable it until a time length has elasped. I am using the Action: On: Keystroke, Key: Enter, Action: Go, Target: Next Page to set up keyboard navigation. I tried playing with the elapsed time variable in the condition / else tabs for the action, but it seemingly does nothing. Do I need to turn it on in the page or something? So the second question is: does anyone know how to disable this keyboard navigation action until a time length has elasped? Thanks in advance!Edited By: agreatheight on 2007-8-20 15:2:34
