Course not going to Completed

I don't believe it is the "b" that is causing the problem. What is different when they reach the end of the course and you set it to completed? Is the name changed from "complete" instead of "completed"? Is there another action getting in the way? Example another action executes and prevents the LMS from catching up to execute the code when they exit?
Intermittant problems happen all the time with all types of courses (not just Lectora), just need to account for those instances.
