Can multiple developers work on one .awt

You can't have them work on the same .awt file at one time. The last one saved will overwrite all the others. One way that might help would be to break the course into separate .awt's, all with the same background and navigation, develop separately, and then merge them back together. There are several issues to be concerned with if you try to break the course up into pieces and then merge them together you would still have these problems. One is any objects created using Lectora drawing toolbars (shapes) could easily result in duplicate names in different parts. Lectora assigns its an image name to the shape. If two people create an arrow in two different titles, they both could be named in the folder as shape008.wmf.Questions would renumber themselves. There could be other variable name conflicts. What you can do is to have different people develop different parts by giving them a copy of the course template (background and navigation) and restrict them to the following:- text boxes- imported graphics, audio, Flash, video (adopt a naming convention so there will be no conflicts when merged)- be very careful with using the button wizard - adopt a convention for initial names of the buttons as that is what is given to the .gif and then change what is displayed.- Table of contents- Menus- HTML objects- Groups- Actions but be very careful about variables being used in two different parts for two different things.- If you do use questions, adopt a naming convention and manually rename the question variables - Question_0001 > C3_Q001 for Chapter number 3, question 1. That way there will be no conflict when you merge it back with other parts. Same for Survey questions.DO NOT ALLOW using any Lectora drawn shapes. Finally, remember the old project management adage, "Throwing people at a late project only makes it later."Edited By: Ben Pitman on 2008-4-7 13:43:12
