buttons causing streaming video to stop

Very odd. I have tried to recreate your problem using Lectora 2007 SP2a and everything works.I created a new page, popped a video component on the page, used the Clock.avi test file supplied with Windows and added a single button that displays a message. When viewing the project as a published HTML everything functions fine, same when it's published to an EXE.What happens if you do the same? Is it something to do with WMP and the CODEC that you have used for your video clip?If you let me have some more details, then I'll explore further, as I do lots of work with video files and would hate to run across this problem myself. The solution that I was going to test was inserting the video player object using custom HTML instead of a Lectora component. There is no problem with WMP and interactions, as I've done LOTS of interactive video based elearning and I almost always use WMP as it is more likely to be installed on corporate machines than Flash 9 player.Post more details, or maybe a video sample, and I'll play.David
