ignore case within entry field?

hallo there. Can I start by thanking the expert members of this forum for some great solutions so far. I've used a few of the tricks already posted, saving me time and winning me favours! I've got a question. I'm asking the user to enter text into an entry field. I want to validate this using a conditional action, but I want to completely ignore the case. Is is possible to alter whatever has been entered into the entry field to drop it all to lower case? Or is there a better way around this?Thanks for your help!
