buttons causing streaming video to stop

alright there. I'm using L2007 for the first time, having previously worked with 2005 and 2006. I can't see what I'm doing wrong here. I've got a video object on a page that's running a remote .wmv using windows media services streaming video. It's playing fine, and the controls appear as they should. However, I've got a few buttons on the page, and whenever any of them are clicked, the video playback is halted. I've tried this with buttons with no associated actions, and buttons that are calling html functions - either way, once a button is clicked, the playback finishes. I've also tried it with text links, and they do the same thing. I don't know why these buttons / links are tampering with the video playback. Clicking anywhere but the buttons doesn't cause a problem.Anybody encountered this? Edited By: finsbury on 2007-3-19 9:2:5
