Busy screen

I have a slide that discusses a topic and includes a button to click to show an example. Both the discussion and example are on the page. I have hide/show actions that work fine so the user sees one thing or the other but when I look at it in Lectora I can see everything. It makes me dizzy when I try and edit either thing as they are sitting on top of each other. Would it be better/easier to just have the example be a seperate document that opens when clicked?
