Batch User Merge

In the process of updating CourseMill, we are going to start using LDAP/SSO. To do that, I need to change all of our user names. Is there a way to use "batch user data"change the user names? I saw some documentation about doing a batch merge, but I haven't been able to get it to work.

Turns out the problem was sith some settings on the new server.
To do a batch merge, you need to create the new user accounts first (with batch upload), then do another batch upload to merge.
