Badges gone?

Where are the badges gone? Will they be back? Not that I care, just curious :)
And now Karma appeared. What's karma? How does it work?

Thanks for being so attentive of the site! We're currently going through some steps to maintain and improve the site. Everything you're use to should be coming back shortly (if it's not already) and we'll be sure to introduce you to any new functionality :)
Well badges are back...and i do know in the US of A all is bigger...but aint the badges a bit too big now ;-)
