Background image redrawing?

Because this is in HTML, there is very little that you can do about it.Depending on the browser settings, Internet Explorer always rechecks background images, and does not retrieve them from the cache.The only thing that I can suggest is that you also change the colour of your background, from white to the dominant colour in your background image (e.g. blue). This means that even though you will get the flash, it won't be as harsh.
