Animations/Actions work in Run & Edge Preview NOT in LMS

The first three pages have events that are supposed to happen based on the audio. All three pages work properly in Run Mode and when I preview them in the browser (Edge). This is published as SCORM 2004.

The first 2 pages (Amazon Worldwide Shipments & Lean):

  • Animation for showing/hiding/moving objects is perfect until it is in the LMS. I've tested in SCORM Cloud and Cornerstone on Demand. In both cases the timing gets totally messed up and in the case of the Lean page, the animation using jQuery doesn't happen at all.

The Waste vs Customer Value page custom Drag-n-Drop using jQuery:

  • Works perfectly in both Run and Preview in Edge, but you cannot drag the "Drag Me" button when it's in either SCORM Cloud or CSOD.

SCORM Reporting Settings:

  • Does anyone know whether I've set-up the reporting properly for CMI_Completion_Status on the last page of the test (Test Results)?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Usually Seamless play should not affect the project, unless you use custom scripts. Its purpose is to allow nicer, "seamless" page transitions, so that you don't see a white window between page changes. It should also allow "Autoplay" of media files on mobile devices.

That is all the documentation I can find...

Seamless play is the reason most of the times when someone writes "It works in preview but not when published". Does it work when you publish to HTML?

@Maura, it isn't clear what you mean by "...reporting Tests to the LMS ...".

Do you publish as AICC, SCORM, xAPI? What information do your customers need from the tests? (Score? Statistics on each question?)

Seems like you published with "Seamless play". Does it work without it? Preview in browser is always non-seamless, so this might explain why it works then.

These problems were solved in Seamless Play, BUT other problems appeared on different pages (not included in my uploaded example).

Do you know whether there's any good documentation on how Seamless Play affects projects? What is its stated purpose?

Thanks.

I'm now testing with Seamless Play off. I had to rework the logic on the pages that no longer worked properly with SP off.

Are you at all familiar with the best practices for reporting Tests to the LMS?

Thanks for all of your help so far!

@CarlFink,

Sorry for the lack of details. I needed to report SCORM 2004 ver. 3. I chose not to use the default Results Page which caused problems. I believe I have solved it through my trial and error testing on the LMS. I'll post again if my solution fails when other users test the course.
