Wrap Text within the Table of Contents
May 6, 2013 12:00 AM
Hi Friends,
I'm trying to figure out how to wrap text within a Table of Contents so that the horizontal scroll bar does not appear whenever long titles are used for Chapters, Sections and Pages.
I can see that this was a problem in past versions of Lectora. Is there a fix with Lectora 11? If not, what is the best approach to take for wrapping the text in 2013?
Thank you.

Put
in your page titles that you want to break where you want it to break. If you are also using the page name in an action, contact me for a resolution, otherwise you are good to go.
It is, I agree. I put one in the first one and then copy and paste into the rest.
If you are going to do a TOC, you really need to shorten the normal page title text. This is one of several reasons why I never fill the page title text block on the page with the page name so I have the option of changing the page titles to whatever works for a TOC.

Thanks for your response Ben!
Manually inputting breaks to manage wrapping sounds like a lot of extra work. Is there really no automatic way to create text wrapping within a TOC in Lectora?
