What LMS Is Best ?

I guess the best way to find out is making a list of functionalities you want to have and then compare them to things like budget and how user-friendly the LMS is.We can all polute this topic by saying "my LMS is best" or "that one sucks" but what might suck for one can be a breathtaker for someone else (no offense btw Heidi).Make sure you have the list, and it includes things like:- What kind of SCORM is available (1.2 only or also 2004)?- What kind of output does it generate (pop-ups or in-page links)?- Does it support my courses?- What format of uploading does it accept?- Does it accept (and can it handle) stuff like javascript?- What are the costs?- Etc.We have a custom-build LMS. One of the biggest advantages of custombuild is the fact that everything that we wish for can be accomplished. We own the source-code and are therefore able to alter anything and include and build different modules. One of the biggest disadvantages of custombuild is the fact that it takes a huge amount of time to build. You have to decide for yourself what you should do. This is the best advice I can give you.P.S.: Saba builds LMS's as well, just like Oracle used to do. Saba is still used alot as well.
