Web Link doesn';t open a Web Link

Finally got this to work. I created a page and selected the "Web Window" button. There is the start to the address provided, i.e. [URL]http://.[/URL]
It wasn't helpful that there was no cursor blinking in the field - but I added the web address of www.amazon.com.
The system added a picture of a globe with a mouse over the top of it.
Important!
You need to drag out the sides of this picture to the size of the web window you want to show on the page.
Then you need to publish it. Nothing else works!
