vertical spacing between lines

What your encountering often occurs becuase there is a space at the end of a block of text with a larger text size assigned to it. This pushes the last line of text down farther making it stand out. Click in the text box, and hit ctrl+A (select all) to ensure you've got all the text selected and then make your font changes. If this doesn't fix the problem, then try to render the text box as an image.
