indented bullets in lectora 2007

I have a customer who will not accept that half a character indent under any circumstances. So I've created an empty .txt document on my desktop and everytime there is a formatting issue in lectora, I copy the text and paste it to the unformatted .txt document. then I use Paste unformatted text. this will copy the text using your default style. Reapply any styles. carefully select the bulleted text and reapply the bullets. Painful, yes, but it works.Oh and if your bullets change color.... For instance, you need part of a sentence to be a different color, and that part of the sentance wraps around to the next line....Guess what? your bullet will change color with it. not desirable?FIX, Uncolor the text. Then select the text on the first line only and color it. Then select the text on the next line only and color it. Magic! the bullet goes back to black. The problem here is that the space and/or carriage return causes the bullet to color. Remove the color from the space/carriage return and the bullet is fine.
