Using Captionate .srt (Caption) files with Lectora Video object?

I'm wondering if anyone has used Captivate in tandem with the Lectora video object to use for Closed Captioning, OR knows how to use an "On Done Playing" action when using the JWPlayer in "HTML Object" mode (calling the flv via the External HTML object using the JWPlayer code) to execute additional actions.

Normally we use the JWPlayer code and the caption options to call our captions. This works just fine if you have only one video on the page, and don't have any actions that rely on its completion. Unfortunately, in this case, I also need to perform additional actions after the video plays. I'd prefer not to just use a timer event and "guess" when that video has completed.

So what I seem to have two options:

1. use the external code, have our captions display properly and at the correct time/location) and worry about some bugginess in terms of the actions that execute after the video file(s) are completed

2. use the Lectora video object, have more control over the actions, but not be able to use our Captionate .srt files for CC.

But you know, I'm a girl, which means I want it all :)

Any ideas are appreciated. I'm hoping someone has run into this before.

Cheers!

Lisa
