Unable to find an API adapter error

I sent my client a file published in SCORM 2004. She is reporting the API adapter error. I know there was some discussion about this within the last year or so, but I can't locate any resolution.
My client wrote back: I've published other files from Smartbuilder and Articulate to SCORM for [their version of an LMS -- not a commercial LMS] and haven't had a problem. Maybe it's something about Lectora? But it is going to look for a player.html file in order to start.
The error does not occur in when I load the same file to SCORMCLOUD. Their [LMS] is looking for this player.html file.
Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Hi there-
I was just wondering if you had found a solution? We are running into this with our LMS also for a course we purchased. I've never seen this with the courses we build ourselves.
