Translator familiar with Lectora

bkrause,I'm kind of jumping in late but thought I may be able to add a little value to the conversation.Is the software product that your lesson is about already in Japanese? If so, why not just take new screen shots?If not, why translate them at all. If the end user is only going to see the English version, why confuse them by translating the text on the screen shots into Japanese? It seems to me, when they actually start using the software, they may get confused because the screens in the end product don't look like they appear in your content. It may be easier to imbed the text in Lectora, output into an .rtf document using the Translator Tool, and then reimport the translated text from there. Then the end user sees the screen shots how they will actually appear in real life but the translation of the screens is still included in the content.This will satisfy your translator by providing them with just a word document, and also provide the translation for the screen shots, without actually having to place them all into a word document.Just my two cents.Griffin
