Translation Tool

Hi LudoI think I have figured out where in the rtf file most of the problems stem from. It seems that Lectora isn't handling the formatting of bullets correctly and this is distrupting the formatting of any text following bullets within the rtf file. For example, I export my course text to an rtf file. I make a single amendment to the file, I import the file I get distrupted text. I open the file again, apply bullet formatting using MSWord or WordPad, I import the file again, text is fine.I also notice that I have to reformat the bullets as well in Lectora and some of the text still has additional formatting applied to it (Left indenting) but at least the text tools in Lectora allow me to change this.I have also found that doing all my bullet manipulation first in Word to flush out the majority of problems then import the entire course, then work through reformatting and importing single pages is the safest option.I would seem that the Translation Tool is a bit flaky to say the least and should be treated with care. Just don't promise anyone that you can turn round a translated version of a course in a couple of hours! All my Flash movies, using UTF-8 encoded XML with HTML formatted text plug in with no additional rework. My main worry now is the Chinese, Korean and Thai versions of the course which I will not be able to reformat myself in the same way as I have just done for the German so I hope Trivantis might take another look at the Translation tool and satisfy themselves that there isn't some kind of problem with the tagging it writes out for bullets and the likely input it will take back in once someone has edited the document in Word or WordPad.
