Temp location for unsaved Lectora files?
March 3, 2021 12:00 AM
I had a colleague who hadn't saved his title yet after working on it throughout the day - is there a temp location where the periodic auto-save would go to, or does the periodic auto-save only occur once you have officially saved the file at least once?
Solution
There are 2 possible locations. In the main title folder, if there was an unsaved item, there will be a temporary file shown with a tilde in the name. See project folder similar to C:\Users\yourname\Documents\My Titles\ProjectA
Additionally, depending on what happened, they may find an .awt file in a folder similar to:
C:\Users\Coggins\AppData\Local\Temp\~Lectora_18092_1614634070_0
