Taking notes while in Lectora

2nd question. My users are hooked on paper. When they review the modules (they are tested on later) they are doing lots of screen prints to make notes on. Can I create something that will allow them to be able to have their notes pages w/o printing every page of the module? I was told to create a pdf and upload that into Blackboard along with the module but when I tried to print to a pdf it hosed up my PC and I had to do a hard shut-down. I really don't want to do that but am at a loss as to a solution for this note taking issue..if there is a solution. Thanks in advance for any direction.
