Specify HTML name to use?

I don't like the generated names for buttons, shapes. They don't have meaning associated. How can I change the HTML name as I like?

Thanks,

Tim,

Thanks for the link. I read the threads. It seems it can be used to identify the objects from Javascript. It can be useful that I will explore. When publishing, does Lectora save the these buttons, shapes in different names? I'd like them to be saved in a meaningful names than buttn1234.png, shape2345.png etc...

Thanks,

cpliu, just out of sheer curiosity, is there a programmatic reason why you want to change the HTML or file names?

You can't edit the html name from within Lectora. If you really want it, check this topic:

Hi Darrel,

It's not for programming but more for organization. I like to see the published files named and organized by the way I like so I can see what each one is for at one glance. I've given up that idea. They starts with button.... so it's fine.

Thanks for asking!
