Show solution in drag & drop question

Is there an easy way to show the correct solution in a drag & drop question? (see screenshot dd = question and solution = solution)

So far I found no way to move the drag-objects to the correct drop-target by hitting show-solution-button. I obviously can not manipulate question objects, and drag-objects are part of the question. Even using the feedback worflow, the move action can not udes to manipulate the drag-objects.

I see only the possibility to duplicate the drag-objects manually and the show the correct solution by an action (and hide the original drag-object with a white box...).

Thanks, Wendy. I already made a screen capture in Lectora and it works quiet well. But you are right, text layout may change in browser view, so a browser capture may be the better way.

Hi Reiner,

What I usually do when I want to show the answer to a drag and drop question is to make a screen capture of the correct answer while running in my target browser. Then layer that on top of the question and keep it hidden until I want to show it. That way I only have to hide and show one object instead of several text fields.

Sorry, I tried to attach the wrong file. Here you go.

Hi Reiner. Is this something like what you are looking for? If you get the question wrong a 'show me' button will appear and when clicked the correct answers will animate into place.

Nice solution, Darrel! I like it! Thanks so much for sharing!

Hi Darrel,

that is more or less, what I was thinking about. My scenario is a little more complex, as more than one drop zone is correct for a special drag object. So this time I keep going with the show-a-graphic-as-solution option.

But I am shure, your input will be helpful in one of the the next 25 modules we have to build. Thanks a lot.

Reiner
