Short ascii names not generated

Ben - thanks for the suggestions. I had already started some of your ideas - I'd shortened some and removed anything close to a special character but no change. I hadn't started deleting chapters.But a strange thing did happen - I was reading the knowledge base articles and found that it might be a good idea to remove the 'Report Test Question Interactions to LMS' so I did. This last time, the ascii names were created when publishing to SCORM but didn't when publishing to HTML (we are using this for a quick run-through view/preview of the course)! So, now I am really confused...
