Radio buttons "On Select/Change" problems

I want to show feedback for multiple choice question choices when users click a radio button, rather than requiring users to click a Submit button. If I use the On Select/Change function for the radio buttons, the feedback pops up as desired, but the radio buttons do not show that they were selected. Anyone know any quick fixes, or do I have to rebuild?
