Radio buttons not clearing

I don't understand in another post why I need to group radio buttons. I have a cours ewith assessment. When I publish it to HTML, the radio buttons are already checked that were checked when I took test while programming in awt file. I can still click and fill unfilled radio buttons, but can't unfill the ones that are already filled. These are test questions I had in a course that worked fine, but I changed the questions today and published to HTML. The questions were built using test question tool. I am using version 2007.
