Radio Button Group question

I'm new to Lectora Pro 2008, SP2 (5611). I've set up a medical benefits scenario with branching. In this scenario, the outcome of your hospital experience is dependent upon your answers to questions, (e.g., correct answers are the direct path to hospital discharge and wrong answers result in medical complications and further benefit questions). I'm having a problem with radio buttons. I set up the questions in one section and the branches in separate subsequent chapters. I've set up paths on each button in each question. Using the Select/Change tab, I direct each button to a specific chapter. From the chapters, I set up actions to direct back to the next question.When published the program seems to randomly highlight (preselect) one radio button on many question pages. The highlighted button can be selected and shows a response as it should (Incorrect or Incorrect), but will not go to the directed path.I've checked the paths for broken links, but can find none. I then tried using a radio button grouping. The Lectora Information Center says I should see a Conditions Tab, but I get only General, On Select and Transitions tabs. Have you heard of this issue? Got any suggestions?
