Edit: After reading Ben's post, I see that I made the assumption that both quizzes would be located in the same title. If that's not the case, then the following comment is not wholly applicable.
I think you can take these suggestions and apply it to a second quiz. If I understand correctly, there will be two questions for each concept/topic. The second question is asked if the first one is missed. So, for example, you might have:
Q1 is about dogs
Q2 is about cats
Q3 is about the Industrial Revolution
If the learner gets Q1 and Q3 right, then he is presented with a whole different question about cats. But he doesn't have to answer another question about dogs and the Industrial Revolution.
I would still try the actions that automatically advance to the next page if the corresponding question was answered correctly. This could be done using the quiz variables or with your own, depending on what you're comfortable with. Although, each question could have two variables associated with it, so that can make scoring a bit more complex. Disabling the Back button would still be something to consider.
