quiz- choice text in 2 lines

I have a need to put choice text in 2 lines. If I just hit return to have the text in 2 lines, it looks fine in Lectora but still in one line in HTML (published). So I used shift-return to put text in 2 lines. It displays correctly, but Lectora can't evaluate it correctly. The answer is always evaluated as wrong even if a user selects the right answer. If you look at the HTML, you find there is a special character that looks like a light on icon separates 2 lines. This may cause the problem for Lectora to answer-judge the question.

It may be fixed by using tables, but I wonder if there is an easier solution.

There are other problems with using real text in the answer choices that have been reported. If you don't need the real answer choices in a Lectora Results page, then just code the answers as A, B, C, D. Make them Initially Hidden. Then put all the real answer choices in a single text block and arrange the radio buttons next to them.

I use this for many clients. It has the added benefit of requiring much less retained storage -- a problem if you have a lot of questions. Once you build one question like this, you can just use it as a template and future questions are very easy.

Good idea! Thanks for the tip, Ben.
