Question content doesn.t appear

I'm using questions as simple knowledge checks. They're inserted in pages that are included in a section; they're not in a test.I'm not using the question feedback feature - feedback appears in custom pop-ups - so the 'special character' bug doesn't affect the questions.When I publish for html to test the course, no content appears on some of the question screens. All I see is a totally blank screen. When a question DOES appear, it doesn't work properly. I use a "Check Answer" button with a series of actions attached to trigger judging and display the appropriate feedback. In the questions that display on the screen, no feedback displays when I click "Check Answer". What's frustrating is that very similar questions set up in a different course file work correctly. The problem happens in one course but not the other.I'm using Lectora 2008. The about window includes this information: Enterprise Edition v. 9 (5824).Any ideas on what I can try to fix this problem?
