Providing Feedback in Test Results Page

Why not stop them from making more than one choice and give them feedback as your client wants? All you have to do is put a transparent text box on top of the answers. When they click Check My Answer, you show the feedback and the transparent text box which prevents them from checking anything else. If you have no Back button you are done. If you have a Back button, then you only need one more action at the page level that shows the text box if the question variable is not = empty. (the value field is empty on the condition)
