Prompt to resume ... doesn't always actually prompt

So, we have consistently found that sometimes "prompt to resume" doesn't actually, and when the student restarts, the course instead just starts from the beginning. This is a problem when the course takes an hour to complete, obviously.
Would the (relatively) new title option "Retain tracking status" and a custom action at the beginning be more reliable, do folks think?
I'm on V19, so perhaps this was fixed in later versions, but that won't help me now.

Hmm ... in testing just now, it works fine in Chrome on Windows, but never works in Safari on iOS (latest).

My colleague confirms on her iPad. Resume works on Windows, but on neither iOS or iPadOS.
