Process Question = Breaking Navigiation Actions? [X.5]
November 23, 2011 12:00 AM
Hi All,
I was hoping someone could relate and hopefully help with ths issue. I have been using Lectora for about 7 months now and thought I'd pretty much cracked all the basics.. this one though is just puzzling me.
Since I updated to X.5 I have noticed an issue with my Check Your Knowledge question templates. The way these work in our course designs, is using the standard question template in a non assessment course section (green book icons), with a submt and a reset question button, nothing fancy.
Example: Multiple Choice - 4 Answers, 0 Weight, with feedback.
This all appears t0 work fine in previw mode (both Yellow and Green Preview icons).
Now when I publish to SCORM or HTML, or Preview in HTML, as soon as the question has been processed, the feedback is shown, and you can still reset the question. However, all course navigation actions are nullified. I have tried the next page, previous page, goto page and exit course actions, none of them work.
The only way I have managed to make a workaround for now is to have custom on click actions on the buttons showing feedback and then automatically moving onto the next page, not allowing the user to refect on the question they have just answered.
Just for information purposes, the same question templates do not have any issues whn used in the assessment section (red book icons) of the title. This issue has only started since I updated to X.5 which is why I am asking for help.
Thanks in advance for any replies or suggestions.
