In Course Translation / Advanced Translation

Hi All,

this is my first post on the forums so apologies if I have skipped over a similiar question.

I'm looking at making a course in multiple languages, I have tried the translation tool, and I can see how the process works, however this would create multiple courses, with each one being published in said language.

Is there a way to have a single course change the content language based on the translated rtf files?

Example, I have written a course in english, and exported the rtf file. with wordpad I have created, french and german translated rtf files. Is there a way through using actions/buttons/variables etc to switch between languages without having to load a different course.

I had some limited success using variables and text blocks (with show and hide options based on which language button is selected) but adding additional text blocks for each language is going to get messy and long winded.
