powerpoint Smart Art - poor conversion to Snap?
August 15, 2013 12:00 AM
We're using PPT 2010. I like the graphics in the smart art option (not that they're amazing, but they're quick and look clean), but after publish from Snap the alignment of the smart art is off. way off.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. I have one graphic duplicated on two slides, and when I convert, the smart art is in a different position on the two slides.
An arrow I drew in PPT is not in the right position after publish and it's just a plain ol' shape.
Is smart art not compatible with Snap? I seem to always stumble on things that just don't work. Is there some list of options in ppt that don't work in Snap so I can stop spending time on re-work?
thanks

I, too, would like to know the answer to this question! It is doing really funky things with my Smart Art. I hope this can be worked out because the Smart Art adds a lot to my presentation.

even more strange, I have other slides in the same deck with smart art that converted just fine. The only difference I can determine is the horizontal position. The objects that didn't convert well were center'ish on the slide. The objects that converted fine were left aligned on the slide.
