overflow in my LMS.. code to prevent appending data with AICC course??

I was having an issue with a Lectora AICC published course and this is what my LMS vendor sent me... anyone know the code he's speaking of???

The course is creating an overflow situation where it is sending more data than allowed. This is because you are posting to the LMS the same variable more than once. This issue has come up a few times and is something to speak to the folks at Trivantis about. Here is the log of a PutParam (Content Posting Data to the LMS). Note that variable names are repeated multiple times. If the user completes the course the first time, probably will not be a problem, but if they exit and return, the course will not know which variable to use and invariable use the first one it finds one (first time the variable was posted to the LMS) and not the last one posted to the LMS which is appended to the history record. What happens is it appends and appends until eventually there is too much data for the LMS to handle.

It is not an LMS issue but an AICC conformance issue. AICC standards says a PUTParam appends to the core_lesson field and not replaces the data. Trivantis has a command that will prevent appending from happening or clears the data after the course loads. I don't know what the command is as this is a courseware support issue and not an LMS issues.
