Options for removing IE navigation?

I'm trying to figure out a way within Lectora to remove the navigation buttons resident to an html course that is viewed in Internet Explorer. I want to "force" users to use only the navigation buttons that I create within Lectora. Our courses are not kept in an LMS and are basically open source HTML. I have a series of actions that dump info into the final certificate after an assessment, one of these is the assessment score. Users that don't pass are able to use the back button in Internet Explorer to correct answers they got wrong..then hit the "Score assessment" button which takes them to a passing certificate. I know this is an issue with user integrity, but I'd like to remove this back button i.e. navigation capability.I tried publishing to a stand alone executable, which is one option, but I'd like to publish to html. Does anyone have experience with a code snipet to remove navigation buttons in i.e. or toggle the F11 (full screen mode) at the beginning of a Lectora title? Thanks in advance!
